Who we are

TinyChord is a PWA web app that allow users to play chords and accompaniment while singing. 

This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is protected.
TinyChord is the property of Music Assets SAS, France. 

TinyChord operated by Gérard N E S P O U L O U S, who is the data controller for information collected through the Service.

What we collect

If you don’t have an account we don’t collect anything: all data is stored in your local storage (indexedDB of your browser.

You can create an account to store yours songs in our servers and sync them between all your devices

• Account data: email address and an encrypted password (or a Google sign-in identifier).
• Data you create: playlist in a zip format
• Technical data: minimal logs needed to operate the service (timestamps, error reports).

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics that profile you.

Payments & billing

If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment and billing information (such as name, email address, and payment method details) is collected and processed by our Merchant of Record, xxx, xxx  handles all payment processing, tax, invoices, and related customer service. We do not store full payment card details on our own servers.

How your data is protected

• Row-Level Security: every database table enforces, at the database level, that you can only read or modify your own rows.
• Private file storage: uploads are stored in a private bucket and served via short-lived signed URLs scoped to your account.
• Encryption in transit: all traffic uses HTTPS/TLS.
• Encryption at rest: the database and file storage are encrypted on disk (AES-256) by our cloud provider.

Offline data on your device

TinyChord keeps a local copy of your practice data in your browser (IndexedDB) so it works offline. This copy stays on the device and is only readable by TinyChord’s origin.

Who can access your data on server

Only you — and TinyChord’s administrators when strictly necessary for operating or debugging the service. We never sell your data, never share it with advertisers, and never use the contents of your recordings, notes or PDFs to train AI models.

Your rights

• Access & edit: all of your data is visible and editable inside the app.
• Delete: you can permanently delete your account and all of your data from your account settings. This wipes your database rows, uploaded files and sign-in credentials.
• Export: on request we can provide an export of your data — contact us through the app.
